Several people have politely written to John Alicea at the post office box asking if they can get copies of the poster from the August 25, 2019, tragically aborted concert at Ghent. Unfortunately, they disappeared from the liquor stores where we had them posted, soon afterwards. Obviously, someone (likely more than one person) recognized the historical importance of that first formal Bugle Quartet concert for contemporary music, and especially for the bugle.
You really want one of our posters? We appreciate that. Send John Alicea a check for $200 and $10.00 for shipping to his post office box and he will have some more printed. We think these posters are going to sell like Toulouse-Lautrec’s in a few years (or, if we are lucky, like Beanie Babies).
